Cargo damage, predicted before it happens.
ATENEA simulates the voyage leg by leg with ten years of climate, shows where condensation, heat, mould or corrosion could damage the cargo, and which measures lower that risk most.

01
How it works
A first answer in minutes, with the inputs you already have.
-
1Tell us the shipment
Origin, destination and product. Add container, packaging and loading date for a sharper result.
-
2We simulate the voyage
Leg by leg, in steps of three hours or less, with ten years of climate data for every point of the route.
-
3You get the answer
The risk index, the critical points on the map and which protection to use to bring the risk down.
02
What we offer
Three tools that work together, from the first estimate to the proof after arrival.
- Risk prediction Index 0–100 by mechanism and leg, the critical points on the map, and the protection that lowers the risk most. Learn more
- Records for verifiers A sealed shipment record with a public link that insurers, surveyors and buyers can check themselves. Learn more
- Data loggers Import your logger readings and compare what was measured with what was predicted, along the voyage. Learn more
ATENEA LIVE INSPECTION
Inspections as simple as ordering a ride.
Fast, simple and from USD 35. Every step is checked as it happens.
- Verified inspectors
- Plants and warehouses
- Sealed report with QR
Port terminals and bonded warehouses: coming soon.
03
Who it is for
- Exporters and importers
- Choose packaging, protection and loading date before the cargo leaves, and avoid claims and rejected lots.
- Logistics operators
- Advise clients lane by lane with an objective risk figure and the measures that make a difference.
- Insurers and surveyors
- Assess exposure before shipment and verify records of what was predicted and what was done.

Critical point
Container rain on arrival at Rotterdam in December: the roof falls 4.6 °C below the dew point, with 42 hours at risk.
05
What it assesses
Four damage mechanisms, assessed over the whole voyage: terminal dwell, sea legs, arrival and door opening.
-
5.1
Condensation
Container rain and cargo sweat when the roof or the cargo falls below the dew point of the air inside, typical when moving from the tropics into winter.
-
5.2
Temperature
Hours above the limit of the goods on deck and in the terminal under the sun; also extreme cold for sensitive products.
-
5.3
Mould
Humidity, temperature and time on the top layer of the cargo: how long until growth starts.
-
5.4
Corrosion and moisture damage
Liquid water on metal, cartons losing strength, wood gaining moisture and packaging caking.
