Features
Predict cargo damage before it happens
ATENEA simulates the voyage leg by leg with ten years of climate, shows where condensation, heat, mould or corrosion could damage the cargo, and which measures lower that risk most.
- HS 2022 products, 5,900+ analysable across 25 cargo families
- 6,800+
- ports worldwide with climate data
- 14,000+
- of ERA5 climate (2015–2024) on every leg
- 10 years
- simulation steps along the voyage
- ≤3 h
01
Risk prediction
One 0–100 index with a confidence rating, broken down by damage mechanism and by leg of the voyage.
-
1.1
Voyage simulation
The container is simulated in steps of three hours or less, from terminal dwell to door opening, with the historical climate of every leg.
-
1.2
Global sea routing
Routes are built on a global sea network with straits, canals and capes. No need to draw the route yourself.
-
1.3
Index 0–100 with confidence
One number and a level in words. Missing inputs are filled with declared assumptions and lower the confidence, never silently.
-
1.4
Risk by mechanism
Container rain and cargo sweat (condensation), thermal stress, mould, corrosion, and physical damage or contamination, each scored separately.
-
1.5
Critical legs on a map
The route map highlights the legs and points where the risk concentrates, with dates and the reason in one sentence.
-
1.6
Plain-language reading
A short interpretation of the result and neutral next steps, written for shippers, not physicists.
-
1.7
Best time to ship
See how the risk changes if you load up to four weeks earlier or later, or take an alternative route.
-
1.8
Products and ports
Search 6,800+ HS 2022 products (5,900+ analysable across 25 cargo families by sensitivity) and 14,000+ ports worldwide.
02
Protection planning
See what your protection really changes, and what to add next.
-
2.1
Inherent vs residual risk
The risk without any protection next to the risk with the measures you plan to use, mechanism by mechanism.
-
2.2
Path to minimum
Measures ranked by effect. Each step starts from the risk left by the previous one, down to the lowest risk reachable and what is left.
-
2.3
Generic measure types
Desiccant, absorbent blankets, thermal liners, wall linings, dried containers and stowage material, described by type and performance level, never by brand.
-
2.4
Your own performance values
Already know how your materials perform? Enter your own values instead of the generic levels.
-
2.5
Desiccant dosing warnings
If the declared desiccant cannot absorb the expected moisture, ATENEA warns you and shows how much of it is covered. Quantities are estimates until calibrated.
03
Records for verifiers
Give insurers, surveyors and buyers a record they can check themselves.
-
3.1
Sealed shipment record
Freeze what was predicted, which measures were applied and the loading condition, with up to three photos, sealed with a SHA-256 fingerprint.
-
3.2
Public verification link
Anyone with the link can confirm the record has not changed since it was sealed, without an account.
-
3.3
PDF and versions
Download an A4 PDF with the fingerprint printed on it. Updates create new versions; earlier ones are kept.
04
Data loggers
Close the loop between prediction and reality.
-
4.1
Import logger data
Upload the CSV exported by your temperature and humidity logger. Map the columns once, in °C or °F, percent or fraction.
-
4.2
Predicted vs measured
The measured curve is drawn over the prediction along the voyage, with deviations and alerts flagged.
-
4.3
Measured data in your records
Logger files can be sealed into the shipment record with their own fingerprint.
05
Accounts and teams
Keep analyses, records and logger data in one place.
-
5.1
Saved analyses
Every analysis gets its own link and is saved to your account. Analyses run before signing up are added automatically.
-
5.2
Organisation workspace
Analyses, records and logger data belong to your organisation's workspace.
-
5.3
Team seats Coming soon
Invite colleagues with their own login and role.
-
5.4
API access Coming soon
Run analyses from your own systems.
06
Methodology
Physics first, with every assumption declared.
-
6.1
Psychrometrics
Dew point and humidity from the Magnus formula. Roof, air, cargo surface and packaging moisture are tracked separately.
-
6.2
Climate
ERA5 climate for 2015–2024, stored on our server: no external calls when you run an analysis.
-
6.3
Mould and corrosion
Mould growth with the VTT model; corrosion with ISO 9223 categories.
-
6.4
Declared assumptions
Every assumption is listed in the result. Quantities are marked as estimates until calibrated against real shipments.

About ATENEA
ATENEA is an independent predictive cargo intelligence platform. It combines the sea route, the historical climate of each leg and the sensitivity of the goods to find critical risk points before damage occurs, and recommends prevention by type of measure, never by brand.
